Bethlehem Cemetery Association
Serving families since 1865
*** The Annual Meeting will be held at the Delmar Reformed Church at 7 pm on November 3rd. Lot owners wishing to vote at the annual meeting are required to register at the cemetery office in writing no later than October 20, 2014.
Where memories live on forever
*** Financials, Funerals and Feelings Class scheduled at the BC High School in October, 2014 has been cancelled. The class will be held in another location shortly, interested parties can call the cemetery office for more information.
*** Fall is now here! The water will be turned off after
October 15th. We will begin removing spring/summer type decorations
and insuring the cemetery is winter-ready. If you want to keep
those decorations, please be sure they are removed BEFORE November
1st. Spring/summer decorations will be disposed of and not kept. A
reminder too that small statues and mementos on the base of the
stone should also be removed for the winter season as they tend to
dislodge and break over winter.
*** Winter wreath placement program will be offered again this year.
The wreaths will be placed in later November and removed after the
holiday season and weather permits. The cost for this year will be
determined shortly. Please watch the website for forms and more
information coming soon
*** The Bethlehem Cemetery Association will be installing two
additional columbarium units, roughly identical to the existing two 9
niche structures that are in the Tribute Garden. The Tribute Garden
is to the far south of the cemetery in Section F. These units have
provided above-ground cremation burial options to our families and
additional units will be placed as deemed necessary.
*** Please do not dump in the wooded areas of our
grounds. This is not environmentally friendly and leads
to a very unpleasant appearance. There are trash
barrels by the tool shed for this purpose. Do not place
debris along the roadways or in paths - we do not have a
crew to pick up these piles.
*** While it is tempting to decorate, please make sure
that you follow the guidelines set by the Cemetery for
safety, appearance and ease of groundskeeping. Items
that are prohibited will be removed and can be retrieved
within 30 days.
We thank you for your cooperation, and of course, if
you have questions, please call the cemetery office.
